In 2022, I had the privilege of being the lead industrial designer for Shark CarpetXpert; Shark's first entry into the wet carpet cleaning space. It is a 2-in-1 deep carpet cleaner that delivers unbeatable deep carpet cleaning and stain elimination. The most innovative feature is how it fuses two cleaning chemicals together for an even tougher clean. The following pages give a glimpse of its design process.
Shark CarpetXpert
In the fall of 2021, I had the opportunity to work with the Shark robotics team to help design a new robot dock for the new Shark RV2410RD 2-in-1 Wet/Dry Robot. The goal was to create a new dock design which emphasized the wet/dry cleaning capabilities of this new robot and felt cohesive with the rest of the product.
