Amphenol PCD is a subdivision of Amphenol Corporation which specializes in producing aerospace grade connectors as well as connectors for industrial applications. I worked as an engineering intern there for three summers and gained great experience in how products are manufactured and designed in the corporate work environment. Some of this experience included creating detailed CAD drawings and 3D models, conducting tests and validating products, working with molding and manufacturing personal, working with toolmakers, and participating in meetings with members of the team from around the world.
